The disinfector with foam is placed before washing unit in citrus fruit sorting lines. The fruits entering the machine and in there they get sprayed with foam and get disinfected in order to eliminate any harmful substance which can reduce the life time of the fruits. The production of the disinfectant foam is made through a vessel with a mixer. The amount of the disinfecting material is regulated by a dosing pump.
